Award & Recognition Policy
The Human Rights Protection Council, India (HRPCI) confers honorary awards and recognitions
to acknowledge valuable contributions toward society, human rights, education, humanitarian activities,
social development and nation-building.
Nature of Awards
- All awards are purely honorary recognitions.
- They are not equivalent to Government honours or University Degrees.
- Honorary Doctorate recognition is symbolic and non-academic.
Eligibility Criteria
- Significant and verifiable contribution to society.
- Positive reputation and ethical conduct.
- No proven criminal background.
Nomination Policy
- Nominations may be submitted by individuals, institutions or HRPCI members.
- Self-nomination may be permitted.
- Submission does not guarantee selection.
Selection Process
- Screening by HRPCI Secretariat.
- Evaluation by authorized committee.
- Final decision remains with HRPCI and is not contestable.
Fees Transparency
Any applicable fees are utilized for:
- Administration and documentation
- Event and ceremony arrangements
- Awards, certificates and logistics
Declaration:
HRPCI does not sell awards. Payment does not guarantee selection. All recognitions are based on merit.
Ethical Standards
- Recipient information must be true.
- False claims may lead to cancellation.
- HRPCI reserves right to withdraw recognition if misused.
